Industry standards for PII Compliance and Data Security Primary Function:
Under minimal supervision and by applying advanced engineering principles, define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain highly complex new and existing software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Write, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications.
Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.
Create large complex solutions using higher level technologies following the development lifecycle and adapting new technologies.
Convert business and system requirements into detailed system design and technical specifications according to department guidelines.
Run quality assurance tests to find errors and confirm that those programs meet business requirements, system designs, and technical specifications.
Create work effort estimates and may provide input to project schedule work breakdowns.
Convert system designs and technical specifications into program code.
Analyze and troubleshoot existing program code and correct errors as required.
Create and maintain user, technical and operational documentation that describes program code, logic, changes and corrections.
Provide technical support to end users and other support groups as established by service level agreements.
Provide performance and production run monitoring for applications assigned after implementation.
Interface with Business Analysts, Testers, Implementation, Clients and Users if necessary to develop business reports and applications.
Must be able to communicate complex technical issues to all stakeholders, including those who do not have a technical background.
May function as a team leader for specific projects or other assignments as necessary.
Work in an Agile software development environment with frequently changing requirements.
May analyze business requirements and develop system requirement specifications.
May develop various implementation plans, e.
g.
, quality assurance, training, documentation, transition, release, software build, as required by the established software development methodology.
May be required to work non-standard hours on-site as needed.
Must comply with law, company policies and procedures, and the highest ethical standards.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent related work experience is required.
Minimum 5 years professional development experience is required; web development experience preferred.
Demonstrated mastery of at least one or more of the following areas:
Database Design and Transact SQL, Web User Interface Design, XML Web Services, business process and workflow automation.
Must display a helpful demeanor, attention to detail, customer service orientation, and demonstrate the ability to be a contributing team member in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Strong interpersonal skills required.
